HEAVYSINT

Our HeavySint, with a minimum content of 90% of tungsten, offers countless opportunities. Thanks to its high density (from 17.0 to 18.5 g/cm3) our product is able to shield x and y rays without being harmful to health, it is also an excellent vibration damper and also to be the best balancing weight. Our alloy, consisting mainly of Tungsten, Nickel, Copper or Iron, also offers high values of elasticity and good mechanical characteristics despite having a better machining than pure tungsten. The HeavySint is always supplied following the B777-15 norm.

HEAVYCOPPER

The HeavyCopper is a truly important product due to its electrical conductivity, its resistance to the electric arc and its good thermal conductivity. Furthermore, it shows a high melting point and a mechanical resistance thanks to the presence of tungsten. These characteristics, due to the infiltration of copper in a tungsten skeleton, make this alloy suitable for different uses, also highlighting a low thermal expansion. The HeavyCopper is always supplied following the B702-93 norm.

HEAVYCOCR

Heavycocr are probably the best materials when it comes to wear resistance with guaranteed mechanical properties. Unlike many other materials that sacrificing toughness for wear resistance, Heavycocr offers both. With their excellent wear characteristics, hot hardness, good corrosion resistance and superior mechanics property, Heavycocr was the preferred material for the most demanding wear applications. That your application is about high impact pulp agitators, critical or aerospace directional drilling tools components, our alloys can offer superior wear strength and necessary mechanical properties to withstand the toughest applications. We meet the requirements of the aerospace material AMS 5894 specification.

HEAVYSINT-PRO

HeavySint-Pro stems from the need to focus on some special features of this alloy. The high percentage of tungsten allows to obtain a density up to 19.0 g/cm3. Alternatively, we can achieve decidedly superior mechanical characteristics thanks to special heat treatments and post sintering processes. Moreover, the elongation of the alloy is more than 25% with a breaking load higher than 1500 MPa. For more information and TDS about our special alloy, please contact us.
